RealityScan Mobile 1.9 is now available, with a number of new features, enhancements, and fixes to known issues across capturing, reviewing, and processing workflows that result in greater productivity and reliability.
What’s new in RealityScan Mobile 1.9
Capture improvements
It’s now possible to delete photos in the Review stage—either in the Image gallery or Image details views—as well as during Capture; this makes it easier to clean up any unneeded or unusable images after the fact, freeing up your capacity to take more photos.
You can also now take more pictures when viewing an unprocessed object even if you have no connectivity, ensuring you don’t lose momentum just because of a network outage.
In addition, you’ll now receive a warning on iOS should your device overheat, giving you an early prompt to let your device cool down that can avoid sudden app crashes, device throttling, or battery degradation.
And we’ve made a minor UI change to present users with the easiest path to success by putting the AR capture mode ahead of the Standard and Object modes. The AR mode gives you the most guidance, while Standard and Object modes offer additional features.
